We're looking for a well-connected and experienced partnerships manager to help us take our activations to the next level. The ideal candidate has a solid network comprising non-endemic companies, the esports know-how to get them in the door and the tenacity to get them interested.

The job effectively involves two distinct portions: pitching and executing.

To pitch effectively, we suspect you have well-developed contacts that you can call on to discuss new opportunities in esports. You don't need to have followed Counter-Strike since you were five, but you do need to have the perseverance to work up an understanding of the esports industry and its roots to effectively convey its attractiveness to potential partners who think we're five nerds playing SNES in our moms' basements.

To execute effectively, you need to be creative and attentive to detail; able to turn memes into dreams into real life activations with players, products and brands. We want to be churning out some of the spiciest content in esports and it's on you to work with the marketing team to make sure that content makes money for our partners.

Key responsibilities:
- Identify & source pitching opportunities
- Research and tailor our offering according to potential partner needs
- Create & improve materials showcasing our offering
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create enticing partnership activation proposals
- Oversee execution of your ideas
- Gather & report data on how our activations fare
- Chase
- Chase some more

Skills / competencies:
- You're a salesman and you cannot lie
- Communication skills are essential. Your teammates are straight talkers and your counterparties are suits - you have to be able to work across the spectrum
- The better you are at making slides (whether you prefer PowerPoint or InDesign), the easier you'll be able to convince people to listen to you
- English is probably your second language, but hopefully that isn't too noticeable
- You'll need at least a basic understanding of how businesses operate to be able to assess how to pitch them
- Attention to detail, albeit a trope at this point, is a valuable skill. Bonus points if you can find the typo in this listing
- You'll be working in a project format, so project management skills are very valuable
- To reiterate - you don’t need to know esports by heart, you just need to be willing to learn

Preferred qualifications:
- We don't demand a university education, but everything gets easier with an economics/management degree
- You'll probably have worked in a sales environment within media/entertainment/sports or similar for a few years to develop that network

What we offer:
- All the esports you could ever want, and more (seriously you're going to get really tired of afterparties)
- Competitive salary and benefits
- An inside track to one of the fastest-growing - and hardest-to-penetrate - industries in the world
- A chill work environment in a newly built fancy office with all the gaming equipment you could ever ask for

Application guidelines:
- Resume
- Short cover letter; don't go to crazy but do try to explain your experiences and how you think they make you a good applicant
- Both in pdf format, we're not savages

This position is located in Sweden and applicants are expected to be able to move and work in Stockholm, Sweden.
